Katelyn's Senior Portraits

[August 2009]

Ok; I'm warning you right now. This blog post is especially long, but filled with amazing portraits. My apologies if you get overwhelmed by all of the wonderful pictures, but I just couldn't decide which ones to put up. Katelyn and I, along with her boyfriend Eric, and best friend Kiana, hopped in my car and took a little adventure up to Portland, Oregon. First we walked around the downtown Pearl District and then drove a little farther north to the beautiful Cathedral Park in North East Portland. This is by far one of the most amazing sessions I've ever had. Enjoy!

Katelyn was such a trooper for this partictular picture. I ended up getting about 10 good photos from this background alone...but good thing seeing as how she climbed a huge wall and sat under a waterfall for them.

Katelyn is quite the little monkey...She climbed about 30 or so feet up a sheer cement wall for this photo too. :]

Did I mention that her friends came too? These kids are a blast to hang out with and this session made for one of the most fun days of my entire summer. Thanks Guys!

Gladdy's Graduation Announcement Portraits

[May 2009]

This session was actually taken a few months back when Gladdy decided to get her portraits re-taken so that she had updated pictures to print out and send in her graduation announcements. Gladdy and I went to Martin Luther King Jr. Park (more commonly known as "Walnut Park") in Corvallis to have some fun in the sun!

Savannah's Senior Pictures

[August 2009]

Savannah is a Senior at Philomath High. She specifically told me she wanted fairly simple pictures...nothing too fancy. So we met up at her house and started walking around. This is what we came up with;

Savannah has been playing her Clarinet for almost 8 years now. She can play a few other instruments and directs the marching band at school. She's also in the Choir. Needless to say, she loves music.

Her property had a very cute little pond with a dock to add a really unique quality to the session.

Naomi and Pugsly

[July 2009]

Naomi is one of my best friends and has been since we were in middle school. When we were freshman Naomi got Pugsly and they quickly became best friends. As a graduate of the class of 2009, Naomi is going off to college and has to say goodbye to her best friend. She called me and asked if I could take a portrait session of the two of them before he was gone for good and there was no way I could resist...
